Airbus is still doing its final tally for total aircraft deliveries that were completed in August 2025, but signs point toward a drop from July, missing the company’s goals. There are a myriad of reasons for why the assembly lines feel short but the planemaker still outperformed its benchmarks from last year.

The European industry has had a major issue with engine supply, making new aircraft minus their powerplants and putting them in storage until CFM International as well as Pratt & Whitney can deliver. The worse of the two has been CFM, as Investing.com details, but Airbus still plans to deliver over 800 planes in total this year.
