AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Powerball jackpot has grown to $1.3 billion after no one matched all six winning numbers to cap off Labor Day.

Any player who wins the $1.3 billion jackpot will have the choice of receiving the full prize amount in 29 annual payments or a lump sum payment estimated at $589 million.

The $1.3 billion prize is the fifth-largest in Powerball history and the ninth-largest among U.S. lottery jackpot games.

However, the Georgia Lottery said two $150,000-winning Powerball ticket were purchased in the state on Saturday, matching four white numbers and the red Powerball in Saturday night’s drawing for a $50,000 payout. They had the 3x “Power Play” on, making their prize $150,000.
