MULVANE, Kan. (KSNW) — Two years ago, the Mulvane Wildcats finished with a 1-8 record, but after improvement in 2023, the team found itself at 7-3 last year with success in the playoffs.

As head coach Daniel Myears enters his eighth season, the goal for the Wildcats is to win state for the first time in history.

Mulvane brings back a ton of talent on the offensive line; they also return quarterback Manny Myers, wide receivers Caleb Boor, Grady Myers, and Hays Ensley. The defense sees much of its line return as well as linebacker Reed Hackleman.

For Mulvane to win the ultimate prize, coach Myears and Hackleman said, the team must stay healthy.
