BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said daytime closures and delays begin today, Sept. 2 to dig through highway and replace and repair drainage pipes underneath on KY 854.

They said highway crews will temporarily close parts of KY 854 in Rush at milepoints 0.0 to 0.3 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The temporarily closures will end Sept. 5, according to the KYTC.

KYTC said traffic should watch for flagged traffic and can detour using KY 3 to KY 1945.

They said thru traffic is permitted to residents.
