SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police responded to reports of a shooting just after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
It happened on Boone Street near the cross streets of Fairy and Prentiss Avenue.
Officials say a woman was shot in the leg and grazed by a bullet on her head. Her injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
SPD says the shots came through a window at the front of the home. At this time it’s unclear if the shooter was in a car or on foot.
Officers are currently working to get footage from security cameras at nearby homes.
According to the Caddo 911 page, eights units are currently on the scene.
