Two members of the longstanding Canadian punk band Dayglo Abortions were arrested in Ohio on Saturday (August 30th) in the midst of a US tour. Initial police records did not list the reason for the arrests, but drug charges have since been levied against one of them.

The mugshots of frontman Murray “The Cretin” Acton and guitarist Matt Fiorito have been posted on records found on the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office website.

Acton has since been released from jail, but Fiorito is still being held on drug possession charges, with a bond set at $5,000. A lawyer for the musicians named Jim Heller told the Victoria Times-Colonist , the offenses wouldn’t even be prosecuted in Canada: “Very, very minimal possession charges, but you end up dealing with the jurisdiction that you find yourself
