This week starts like it’s still summer, but quickly transitions to a true fall feel. Let’s see the coldest temperatures we expect this week.

First, I can tell you the southern half of Lower Michigan will not have to worry about frost on our gardens. The northern half of Lower Michigan mostly will not have to also worry about frost. There could be a few light frosts in the coldest parts of inland northern Michigan. The scattered frost could happen around Wolverine, Vanderbilt and Gaylord Saturday morning.

The first cold front will bring a three hour to six hour period of showers at any spot over Michigan. The second cold front will come through southern Lower Michigan with just a few spotty showers.
