EDGEWATER — Two major Edgewater street construction projects are nearly done after causing congestion issues all summer. But traffic headaches for Far North Side drivers are not over just yet.
While work is wrapping up on Ridge Avenue and Granville Avenue, crews recently began work on Clark Street in Uptown and Andersonville, while work on nearby Ashland Avenue will kick off soon.

Ridge’s Sewer Main And Water Line Replacement Project
The city is hopefully just weeks away from reopening Ridge Avenue to cars after several months of it being closed between Broadway and Clark Street due to a major sewer main replacement project.
The $8 million project is replacing a half-mile of sewer main and lead service lines — which carry water from the water mai
