BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Flavortown is about to extend to a new zip code: the Gardendale Walmart.

Guy Fieri, a restauranteur and TV personality best known for his show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" on the Food Network as well as the many restaurants he runs across the country, has a new franchise, Chicken Guy!, that will open at the Walmart Supercenter in Gardendale, marking the first Alabama location for the chicken chain chain.

"With hand-breaded tenders, house-made sauces, loaded sandwiches, fries, and shakes — it’s a one-way ticket to Flavortown," a press release from the company stated.
