BATH, N.Y. (WETM) — Starting Wednesday delays can be expected for drivers through the end of September to accommodate a paving project along Interstate 86 in the Town of Bath, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) announced in a release.

Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 3, westbound and eastbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane between Exit 37 (State Route 53, Kanona/Prattsburg) and Exit 39 (State Route 415/Bath) while crews work on a pavement rehabilitation project, NYSDOT said. The work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., NYSDOT noted.
