WOODFORD COUNTY ( 25News Now ) - Two motorcyclists were badly injured early Labor Day evening in a multi-vehicle crash in rural Woodford County.

Chief Deputy Sheriff Dennis Tipsword said a preliminary investigation shows a pair of motorcycles and a car were involved in the crash at 1934 State Route 26, about four miles north of Spring Bay around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

According to Tipsword, three southbound motorcycles were traveling together on Route 26. He said one of the motorcycles crossed the center line for an unknown reason and hit a Toyota Highlander traveling the opposite direction.

The first motorcycle driver was thrown off the road and has critical injuries. They were taken by OSF Life Flight helicopter to a local hospital in critical condition.
