ASHLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) – A fugitive from West Virginia was arrested on drug charges in the Rush area of Boyd County, Kentucky, according to the Ashland Police Department.
Shannon Badalamenti, 47, was taken into custody on Thursday, Aug. 28, at the intersection of state Route 3 and Clay Jack Road.
Members of the Northeast Kentucky Drug Task Force of Appalachia HIDTA seized suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, an assortment of different pills, a firearm and $1,555 in cash.
Badalamenti is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, according to the Boyd County Detention Center where she’s in custody.
