OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A reckless driver triggered a barricade situation in central Omaha Tuesday afternoon.
Nebraska State Patrol officials told First Alert 6 that the situation started in Pottawattamie County, with the driver ending up at a home near 50th and Spring streets.
Omaha Police’s Able-1 helicopter followed the driver through Omaha, with the car at one point swerving into traffic.
Once at the home, the driver and a woman ran into the house, and refused to come out.
After about an hour, both came out and were handcuffed.
OPD arrested 20-year-old Isiah Wyldes, who is facing several felony charges. The woman was questioned and then released.
OPD said the vehicle was not stolen, but the vehicle had no plates.
