LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln Police Department is investigating suspected voter fraud reported by the Lancaster County Election Commission on Tuesday.
The election commission office reported receiving four voter registration change-of-party forms submitted for four different individuals, all in the same handwriting. The registrations were left with the office in the last few weeks.
In early August, the office said they received two other forms with that same handwriting as well, including a charge-of-party form for a person who passed away in 2020.
Police have identified the suspect accused of filling out the forms, but have chosen not to release their name while the investigation continues.
The investigation is ongoing, and charges have not filed against the suspect as of Tuesda
