Firefighters working on containing NE Bakersfield brushfire

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Multiple firefighting crews have been called to put out a grass fire in northeast Bakersfield.

The fire was reported in the area of Paladino and Morning drives at around 5:11 p.m.

Smoke plumes could be seen from across Bakersfield. Smoke may be affecting visibility on nearby roads.
