COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two men pleaded guilty and were sentenced in the fatal shooting of a father-to-be at a west Columbus gas station nearly three years ago.
According to Franklin County Court of Common Pleas records, Dreyton Johnson and William Armstead Jr. pleaded guilty to charges in the death of 21-year-old Andrew Combs.
Johnson pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery. He was sentenced to 23 to 28.5 years in prison.
Armstead pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, robbery and felonious assault. He was sentenced to 15 to 21.5 years in prison.
The shooting happened just before midnight on Dec. 13, 2022, at the Sunoco gas station located at 2725 West Broad St.
