BUFFALO, N.Y. — Negotiators for three Catholic Health hospitals presented a new wage and benefit proposal to Communications Workers of America union leaders on Friday.

The proposal includes increased salaries while maintaining pensions, health benefits, and staffing ratios designed to support employees and patients.

The hospitals, Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, and Sisters of Charity Hospital—St. Joseph Campus, have been negotiating with CWA Locals 1133 and 1168 since March under a new senior leadership team.
