The presidents of Iran and China reaffirmed the two countries’ willingness and preparedness to promote relations with a forward-looking approach and fully implement the 25-year comprehensive cooperation agreement.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping held a meeting in Beijing on Tuesday, September 2.

Conveying the warm greetings of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, Pezeshkian praised China’s successful chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, highlighting Iran’s support for Beijing’s achievements.
