DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Nathan Ramker announced he is running for Iowa House District 98 on Tuesday.
Ramker’s campaign focuses on several issues, according to a media release, including:
Protecting private property rights
Providing property tax relief
Lowering income taxes
Cutting red tape
Increasing transparency in education
Supporting law enforcement
Protecting constitutional freedoms
Supporting entrepreneurs
Creating opportunities for young Iowans
Ramker moved to Iowa in 2005 and is a small business owner. He also volunteers with the Scott County Sheriff’s Department through the Volunteer in Police Services Program.
Ramker previously ran for the district in 2024, losing to current Rep. Monica Kurth by only 47 votes.
