QUAD CITIES, Iowa/Ill. (KWQC) --
Chilly next few days
A few sprinkles late night
Fall like weekend
The season is changing and we are definitely feeling it! Noticeable cooler temperatures to kick of our Thursday morning. Lows cooled off into the 40s. The last time we had readings in the 40s was back in May.
Another cold front arrives around midnight, bringing scattered showers, but all rain will clear before the Friday morning commute.
Plenty of sunshine to end the work week. Temperatures will continue below normal through the weekend.
Friday evening will be even cooler with 60s in the area. You’ll want to take those sweatshirts!
We are still on track to have a pleasant fall-like weekend. Just in time for the start of fall activities.
TODAY: Much cooler. Sunny. High 69º Winds: NW 1
