SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - A birthday celebration was held on Tuesday for the anniversary of a unique program created by Notre Dame to ignite entrepreneurship.

It’s called the South Bend Entrepreneurship & Adversity Program Collaboration Hub.

While that may be a long name, it is a simple idea: to support aspiring and existing entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds.

A lot of people came out to celebrate the hub’s first year anniversary of opening its doors.

This is a spot where entrepreneurs can get a bit of help with making their dreams in business a reality.

The program got started five years earlier, but the physical hub didn’t exist until a year ago when it opened on Lincoln Way West.
