VALPARAISO — Police are seeking help identifying a young boy found in the city.

The child is believed to be 3 or 4 years old, and is white with blond-colored, medium-length hair and brown eyes, according to Porter County Central Communications (911).

Police said early Thursday that the child was found overnight and is safe and in good condition.

Anyone with information about the child is encouraged to contact the Valparaiso Police Department at 219-462-2135.
