An Edinburgh teenager has been arrested after the death of a young man on Tuesday morning.
Around 2.10am, police received a report a man had been injured on Great Junction Street at Bonnington Road. A 22-year-old man died at the scene after emergency service attend.
Shops were shut and the road locked down. A tent was erected and the street taped off.
A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested in connection. Officers remain at the scene carrying out inquiries.
Next of kin have been made aware but formal identification is yet to take place. They are being supported by specialist officers.
