MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Nearly two years after the mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine that left 18 people dead and 13 others injured, a group of survivors and victims' families are suing the U.S. Army.
According to lawyers representing those survivors and families, the U.S. Army Reserve ignored warning signs that they say the shooter, Robert Card, was showing before the tragedy.
Card opened fire at a bowling alley and bar in Lewiston on Oct. 25, 2023. Two days later investigators found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
