According to Attorney General John Formella, more than half of the homicides in New Hampshire have involved domestic violence.

Gov. Kelly Ayotte asked the committee to begin with the case of 25-year-old Marisol Fuentes , who was killed in July by her husband, 50-year-old Michael Gleason.

The committee is scheduled to hold its first meeting in September or October.
