MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law has seen enrollment rise in nine of the past 10 years.
This fall, the school welcomed 250 Juris Doctor students, a record high for the program.
Applications grew by 32%, above the New England average of 27% and the national average of 22%.

The incoming class also had record-high GPAs, school officials said.
The students range in age from 20 to 59, with an average age of 26.
They hail from 37 states, including Washington, D.C., and nine foreign countries. Twelve percent of the new students have served in the armed forces.
