SAGAMORE HILLS, Ohio — Crews were called to help put out an overnight fire at a Sagamore Hills home on Wednesday.

According to a release from the Macedonia Fire Department, crews responded to the home in the 7600 block of North Gannett Road at approximately 2 a.m.

Around 2:10 a.m. as firefighters were searching the home for residents and positioning a hose line to put out the flames, the "Officer in Charge" noticed that the roof was beginning to collapse and called for crews to exit the home.

Shortly after firefighters exited the house, the roof collapsed.
