For the second Tuesday practice in as many weeks, backup quarterback Luke Weaver worked exclusively with the Hawaii football team’s first-team offense.
And once again, Micah Alejado, who started the Rainbow Warriors’ first two games, dealt with a tender right foot and ankle.
At the end of Tuesday’s practice, head coach Timmy Chang announced Alejado’s availability as a “game-time decision” for Saturday’s contest against Sam Houston at the Ching Complex. Alejado has never missed a start because of an injury in his football career, not even when he suffered a broken foot as a youth-league quarterback.
