‘Sixteen Candles,’ ‘Say Anything’ star coming to town for ‘High Fidelity’ screening

DETROIT - Actor John Cusack is planning a trip to Michigan for a screening of one of his biggest movies, “High Fidelity.”

The “Sixteen Candles” and “Say Anything” star will be at Detroit’s Fisher Theatre for “An Evening with John Cusack” on Thursday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets (starting at $44.50) go on sale Thursday, September 4 at 10:00 a.m. and will be available here .

Released in 2000, “High Fidelity” is a rom-com starring Cusack, Jack Black, Lisa Bonet, Joan Cusack, Tim Robbins, Iben Hjejle and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Cusack, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor for the film, stars as Rob Gordon, the owner of a failing record store and a compulsive list maker.
