PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)– A reported stabbing at a residence on Admiral Street left one man wounded early on Wednesday morning.

According to a Providence city spokesperson, Providence Police responded to the stabbing at 12:14 a.m., and found a 51-year-old man with minor stab wounds to the neck and chin.

The suspect, a 57-year-old man, was found inside the residence, and police took him into custody without incident.

The spokesperson said that the two are relatives, though it is unclear how the suspect and victim are related.

The stabbing is currently under investigation.
