Council bosses want a High Court injunction at Kingsbury Oil Terminal to remain in place. Back in 2022, following a number of high profile protests, a high court injunction was granted to North Warwickshire Borough Council.
It gave the authorities the power of arrest outside the terminal and at the junctions of the roads leading into the main area. Now a notice of a hearing has been issued in regards to the injunction and power of arrest associated with it.
It will be held at the High Court in Birmingham later this month and it will see North Warwickshire Borough Council ask the court to continue the injunction. The local authority has listed why it wants the civil power to remain in place.
