SLATE HILL – A Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) investigation launched by the Minisink Valley school district into Hall of Fame softball coach Bruce Guyette has found that he violated the policy.
However, coach Guyette’s spokesperson said that he did not have an opportunity to defend himself. A DASA investigation is a formal school-based process used to address incidents of alleged bullying, harassment, or discrimination against students.
“We waited two months during the investigation to hear from the school district, and there is no communication until they send Mr. Guyette the letter with its findings,” said Michael Siegel, Guyette’s spokesperson. “The most interesting fact is that in the letter it states that the attorney who conducted the investigation (Megan Shedden) interviewed
