Haley Robson, who claims she was sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein as a minor, called out President Donald Trump directly Wednesday during the explosive Capitol press conference centered around the disgraced financier.
Trump has faced something of a MAGA revolt in recent months over his administration’s handling of the investigation into Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, and drew further ire after calling claims that Epstein ran a blackmail operation targeting powerful individuals a “hoax” manufactured by Democrats.
Robson, responding directly to Trump’s claim, extended an invitation to the president to meet with her one-on-one.
“Mr. President Donald J. Trump, I am a registered Republican – not that that matters because this is not political – however, I cordially invite you to the capitol to meet me in person so you can understand this is not a hoax,” Robson said. “We are real human beings, this is trauma.”
Robson said that she was 16 when she was first recruited by Epstein, initially to provide him with a massage at his $51 million Manhattan mansion, a stone’s throw away from Central Park in New York City, New York. It was during that first meeting, however, that Robson said Epstein had undressed himself and “asked me to do things to him.”
Epstein paid Robson $200, she said, and offered her an additional $200 for every other young girl she would bring back to him.
“He called me every day,” she recalled.
“To say that it's a hoax is just... please humanize us. I would like Donald J. Trump and every person in America and around the world to humanize us, to hear us for who we are and to hear us for what we have to say. There is no hoax, the abuse was real!”
