CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A Charlotte woman was arrested Tuesday, nearly two months after her baby died from drug exposure.

An affidavit said officers were called to an apartment on on July 7.

When officers got there, the baby -- who was less than a year old -- was unresponsive.

The baby’s mother -- 35-year-old Hallie Ingram -- told police that she gave the baby a bottle that morning, put her in a pack-and-play, and then laid down for an hour nap. The affidavit said that when Ingram woke up, she found the baby unresponsive.

Police said the baby was taken to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after.
