JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - The annual Fourth of July celebration in Jackson, Missouri, will expand into a full weekend of festivities in 2026.
City leaders say they are expanding the community-wide event to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
According to organizers, the event will include traditional favorites such as the 5K race, mud volleyball, live music, vendor fair, fireworks show and more.
They are working to add new large-scale attractions to make America’s 250th birthday “unforgettable” while honoring both the nation’s milestone anniversary and Jackson’s own history.
