UPDATE: Wednesday, September 3, 2025 @ 5:00 PM | GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- More information was released relating to a murder investigation in Greenbrier County.

According to Sheriff Bart Baker, deputies responded to a home on Morgan Cemetery Road in Greenbrier County. As they arrived on scene, deputies noticed a white SUV leaving the home in question. When a traffic stop was attempted, the driver put the car in drive and sped off.

One deputy followed the car while another stayed on scene to assess the situation.

During the pursuit of the car, members of the Lewisburg Police Department, Ronceverte Police Department, and White Sulphur Police Department aided in the chase. The car was able to be stopped at a gas station in Fairlea before the man, identified as 42-year-old Michael Lo
