MANCHESTER, N.H. —

For a second time in recent weeks, some Eversource employees and electrical workers protested what they called unfair work schedules and working conditions.

Some Eversource system operators are also fighting for their first union contracts.

The group is asking for more reasonable work hours and negotiations.

“They're offering us a pay cut because we went union and most of their proposals always end with, ‘We reserve the right to change our minds,’ and, 'There’s no grievance in arbitration process,'" Tony Sapienza, business manager, IBEW, said. "What kind of contract is that?”
