A Labour MSP has voiced concerns over ongoing pressures facing Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Lanarkshire. ‌

Central Scotland list MSP Monica Lennon spoke out following the release of the latest statistics on waiting times to access mental health services for children and teenagers. ‌

In June 2025, there were 433 children and young people waiting for treatment in Lanarkshire, with 34 of them waiting longer than the 18-week target. ‌

This is a reduction from last year, when 576 were waiting.
