(WEHT) - Evansville Police have released the name of a man who allegedly fired a gun this week while robbing a Chuck E. Cheese and a Plato's Closet.
Court docs show officers located the suspect, 23-year-old Raquavion Cooper, after being dispatched to reports of armed robberies at the businesses.
Police say Cooper fled on foot, but he was later captured and taken into custody at a home on the other side of Green River Road. Officers say they found the suspected firearm in a dumpster behind Plato's Closet, and over $2,000 at the residence where Cooper was found.
Cooper was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and charged with robbery, criminal recklessness, pointing a loaded firearm and resisting law enforcement. He is being held without bond.
