HOLDREGE, Neb. (KSNB) - The case against a Holdrege man accused of having sex with a 15-year-old is headed to trial court.

Dreyden Roemmich, 21, is charged with first-degree sexual assault and with two counts of possession of child pornography.

Details of the case against Roemmich were sealed by the court, but the charging document indicates he is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in May. Investigators also found two video files showing a minor females performing sex acts on Roemmich’s phone.

Roemmich waived an evidence hearing and his case was transferred to Phelps County District Court for possible trial. An arraignment date is scheduled Oct. 24.

At arraignment, a suspect typically pleads guilty or not guilty to the charges faced.
