Former New Orleans Saints special teams standout J.T. Gray signed with the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

In a surprise move, Gray was let go by the Saints Monday after seven seasons with the team. The defensive back made one Pro Bowl and three All-Pro teams thanks to his contributions on special teams.

"There's nothing easy about this one," Saints coach Kellen Moore said Monday. "It's a hard one for all of us."

Gray, who was named a team captain four times, shared a note of thanks to Saints fans just prior to news leaking that he had signed with the Ravens.
