LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Showers and thunderstorms race toward the region late tonight into early Thursday morning along with a cold front. While widespread severe weather isn’t expected, the stronger storms can produce heavy rain and gusty winds.

Showers and thunderstorms linger tomorrow morning. We’ll gradually dry out through the afternoon as the cold front marches east. With the clouds and rain sticking around through most of the day, highs will be limited to the 60s and low 70s.
