WAILUKU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Changes are being made to Wailuku’s Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Starting Wednesday, September 3, patients and visitors will be asked to enter the hospital building just left of the current ER, located near the Pacific Cancer Institute.
The change is part of the construction project for a new Clinical Decision Unit, which will add 12 observation beds and help cut wait times.
Maui Health said that emergency care will not be affected with the new changes. Parking and valet services for the ER will remain the same.
