The high school girls volleyball season began Aug. 27 at schools across the state. West Valley Preps, the Glendale Independent and the Peoria Independent asked local high school coaches about their teams. Here are their responses:

Who are your top returning players?: Well, for our returning players there is only three: Haley Stewart, senior setter, Kenli Petty, sophomore middle blocker, and Ziara Pauli, sophomore setter/hitter.
