NORTH CANTON ‒ A talk by Genelle Guzman-McMillan , the last survivor rescued from the World Trade Center rubble following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, has been canceled, Walsh University announced.

The talk was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3 in the Barrette Business and Community Center. The event had been sold out and the university was expecting 450 people to attend.

"Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, and out of respect for Ms. Guzman-McMillan, the program will not take place as planned," the university said in a statement.
