LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A Midlands man is accused of ramming into someone’s car after he was served with a family court notice.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said 60-year-old Norman Arthur Schuler was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

A warrant obtained by WIS states the charge is linked to a June 26 incident near the intersection of Cassidy and Blackville Roads.

According to documents, Schuler was served a family court hearing notice at his home in Gaston by an unidentified victim.

Schuler then reportedly followed the victim in his truck immediately after they left and used his pickup truck to ram into the back of the victim’s vehicle. The collision led to two other vehicles being hit and serious injuries bein
