LAVACA, Ark. — A Greenwood woman was arrested after allegedly running her husband over with a vehicle on Aug. 31, according to the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office (SCSO).

Officials confirmed on Sunday that a Lavaca man was severely injured and flown to Little Rock for treatment after being struck by a vehicle on private property off of Shaver Road.

On Sept. 3, SCSO said an arrest had been made in connection with the incident.

Deputies received a call about a medical emergency in the 9600 block of White Lane around 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 31, where a man had been reportedly ran over by a vehicle.

Once deputies arrived, there was emergency medical help already on the scene. Dara Masterson, 34, who deputies identified as the man's wife, was also at the home.
