NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - The calm breeze and low humidity levels have come to an end on Wednesday with your "hump day" kicking of humidity levels rising through the weekend.

But for now we enjoy falling rain chances through this evening with only a few spots going to see a sprinkle throughout the area:

Most of the storms will stay to the west of us in Baton Rouge, but we'll catch a few short-lived showers between 4-9 p.m.

Temperatures made it to the 90-degree mark on Wednesday with New Orleans even surpassing it getting to 91, but we will be "cooling" off into the evening down to the upper 70s.
