Public meeting on threatened oceanfront homes slated for Sept. 18 at CSI

According to a timeline from the Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CHNS), since May 2020, 11 privately owned homes have collapsed on CHNS beaches, all of them in Rodanthe—including three in one week in September 2024. Many others are threatened with the same fate.
