SWIMMING: CENTRAL FINDS THE RIGHT MIX
Bay City Central mixed-and-matched its usual lineup but came up with a winning formula in a 105-57 victory over Essexville Garber in their season-opening dual.
“Most of the swimmers got a chance to swim events that they don’t normally compete in,” Central coach Dave Staudacher said. “Some of the results surprised them and me. It was a good meet to start the season with.”
Central saw its Big Four lead the way as Coco Salazar, Lauren Boon, Lauren Klawon and Lauren Bontekoe shined once again. They teamed to win both the 200 medley relay
